Rubber Roof Repair, #2

The next installment of the rubber roof saga.

The client insisted on using WonderBoard for an underlayment, applied over the EPDM and under the eventual concrete deck. So we did. The customer is always right, right?

Rubber Roof Repair #2

Rubber Roof Repair, #1

A leaking rooftop deck. The deck was covered in concrete and developed several leaks around the gas fireplace and near the scupper.

The concrete has been jackhammered away and new subflooring has been installed. Two inches of IsoBoard insulation was added over the subfloor.

Tomorrow we lay the rubber.

Custom Alder Door

I wanted to clean up the carving a little more on this door, but the clients wanted a hand carved look, so this is the result. I guess it turned out pretty well.

Broken Mirror

This happened during installation. I’m a little worried about the next seven years.
