The client insisted on using WonderBoard for an underlayment, applied over the EPDM and under the eventual concrete deck. So we did. The customer is always right, right?

The deck was covered in concrete and developed several leaks around the gas fireplace and near the scupper.

The concrete has been jackhammered away and new subflooring has been installed. Two inches of IsoBoard insulation was added over the subfloor.

Tomorrow we lay the rubber.
